PERSONALITY
Kahlil is a charmer through and through. He has a whimsical sense of humor and you'd be hard pressed to find a single word come out of his mouth that is genuinely serious. He's sarcastic, irreverent, and generally doesn't give a damn. Incredibly gregarious because of this, he's one of those people you will either love or hate.
He doesn't particularly do well in big serious social situations, he always tends to say whatever comes to mind and this often gets him in trouble. Authority tends to leave a bad taste in his mouth. He likes doing things his own way. Kahlil can be a bit of a rebel in fact, simply because he doesn't like to watch his mouth and he often makes horribly rash decisions. Romantically, one would think he would be pretty suave, but really he just turns into a big bumbling idiot.
He's got a fondness for old legends and songs that is unmatched. Coupled with a nice tenor singing voice. It's kind of hard to find a tale he hasn't committed to memory. Kahlil loves reading and writing when he gets the chance, but he decided a long time ago that he'd rather make legends than tell them.
That being said, he can get vicious when he needs to. Kahlil's got a way with words that is seriously wounding when he's angry - he's not someone you want to get in an argument with. It's very very rare for him to resort to violence, but he's quick to rile and he's done it before.

Tall, thin, and lanky. looks like he was a normal sized person once, but someone tied him to two poles and stretched him out. The young man stands at about 6'3" when he's not slouching (which is never). Long brown hair is permanently worn messy, and it just brushes his collar. He doesn't shave as often as he should, which leaves him with a not-unpleasant scruffiness.
He dresses well for someone who seems to have little other concerns for physical appearance. His outfits tend to be simple but attractive ensembles. He lacks much muscle, but has a certain breadth to his shoulders that dispells any impression that he is weak.
Kahlil is one of those guys who always looks like he just rolled out of bed. Since he sleeps a lot, it's entirely likely he did.

Kahlil has spent the majority of his life at Southern Boll Hold, where he was raised by a Harper and his wife. His young life, was boring and simple - he played, he grew, he learned everything every young Pernese does.
His father was adamant on Kahlil learning all of the old Harper traditons and as such the boy is a bit of an apprentice at that craft. Though never officially trained as such - he knows a plethora of old legends backwards and forwards.
Blessed with a gorgous singing voice and a natural charisma, Kahlil spent most of his working years as an entertainer. However, he finds his life at Southern Boll incredibly boring. He longs for excitement like in the tales he was sung as a child...
